What is Qwickly?
Qwickly is a classroom attendance app that works with Brightspace. It allows students to check-in to their class by scanning a QR code with their phones.
Qwickly was introduced in the Summer of 2023 and is currently being tried out as a pilot by select faculty.
Pros:
- Removes/reduces the work of manual attendance
- Provides attendance reporting
Cons:
- Student issues with login and not being enrolled in the correct courses
- Takes up time at the beginning of class to allow students to scan QR and check-in
